ROYAL DECREE-LAW 8/2020, DATED 17TH OF MARCH, RELATING TO EXTRAORDINARY URGENT MEASURES (PUBLISHED ON THE 18TH OF MARCH) IN ORDER TO DEAL WITH THE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC IMPACT OF COVID-19
On 30 January 30th, 2020, the WHO defined the situation relating to coronavirus (COVID-19) as a worldwide emergency. Since then, a series of measures have been adopted and they are all aimed to protect people’s health and safety and to try to mitigate the economic effects deriving from said emergency situation. The latest one is the Royal Decree-law 8/2020, dated 17th of March, relating to extraordinary urgent measures in order to deal with the social and economic impact of COVID-19, published today in the National Official Bulletin.
